Learn how hemp production helped make John Wesley Hunt the first millionaire West of the Alleghenies, and why Henry Clay’s “American System” was heavily based on his desires to protect and advance Kentucky hemp production!

The DeTour will commence at Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate located at 120 Sycamore Rd. Following the Ashland tour, guests will caravan to Hopemont, The Hunt-Morgan House in Downtown Lexington around 6:30 pm for the after-party, featuring an open house tour of the Hopemont mansion, including the Kentucky Hemp Museum, with complimentary hemp-infused appetizers and beverages.
